Highly Gifted Educational Consultant
As parents of academically gifted children in the Los Angeles area, it’s not easy meeting the often-complicated physical, mental, emotional, and educational needs of our children.
As an educational consultant for parents of highly gifted children, I work to obtain services from their local school districts in the Los Angeles area. With my multidisciplinary background in education, law, health statistics, sociology, and biology, as well as my activism in gifted and special needs education, I work with the highly gifted population, who may have emotional issues as well as learning disabilities. This population is especially challenging because it is particularly difficult to qualify them for services.
You are the expert on your gifted child, No one knows more about him or her than you do. Your parental knowledge is extremely important to the educational process and finding the right school. From my experience as a parent of gifted children, from many years of working with educators, I have a fair amount of insight into the education process, and the advocacy tools that work.
